Articles of Faith

The Articles of Faith of the Corporation are:
1. The Bible – We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Holy Scriptures.
2. The Godhead – We believe in the existence of one true God, who has revealed Himself to this world as the Father, as the Son and as the Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus Christ – We believe in the Saviour of men, the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man.
4. Creation – We believe in the creation, test and fall of man, as recorded in Genesis; his total depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness.
5. The Gospel – In the Gospel of the grace of God, how that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day for our justification.
6. Salvation – In the salvation of sinners by grace, through faith alone in the perfect and sufficient work of Christ on our behalf upon the cross of Calvary, excluding all humanmerit.
7. Water Baptism – In water baptism of believers by immersion in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.(Water is not a means of salvation but an obedience to the Word of God, as an outward sign and testimony of an inward work of grace).
8. Baptism of the Holy Spirit – In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience subsequent to salvation, with the scriptural evidence, namely, speaking in tongues.
9. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit – In the gifts of the Holy Spirit as enumerated in I Corinthians, being exercised and practised as manifest in the early church.
10. The Lord’s Table – In the Lord’s Supper, as a memorial for believers.
11. Divine Healing – In the healing of the body by Divine power, or Divine healing in many aspects as practised by the early Church.
12. Future State – In the eternal life of the believer and the eternal punishment of the unbeliever.
13. Marriage – We believe that marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and is a union of one man and one woman who are of legal age.
– Because marriage is a sacred ordinance, ordained by God, it is our belief that it should not be entered into lightly or inadvisably. Therefore, every couple that is married by our staff or affiliated persons must have completed premarital counselling.
14. Christian Living – In the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and the
perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith.
15. Satan – In the reality and personality of satan and demons.
16. Angels – In the reality and ministry of Holy angels.
17. The Second Coming – In the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church.
